Not sure about Presbyterians. Most organized religions are glacier slow at keeping up with the times and that's one of the key factors on why people are leaving churches, religions or congregations. My parents recently left their church of 40 years due to Methodism not being okay with gay marriage. My parents were disgusted with the churches decision and said Peace Out. I left along time ago when my former church was against the Lottery, which in my state basically means the Lottery Scholarship program, basically providing kids a way to ho to college and better themselves. Organized Religion really is a detriment to society nowdays.
