Hey I was brought up Catholic. Maybe it says more about me that the church, but none of that shit ever soaked into me. Partly because the Jesuits were all about using your brains and thinking for yourself. I figured Jesus was a solid dude and still think he set a good example. My theory is that the more aspie you are and the less intelligent, the more you seize upon hard core stuff as a kid and aren't able to relate it to the stuff you learn as your grow. It bakes into you and you only polarize more from there. Plus you need to have a mean, dehumanizing streak in you to be unable to doubt stuff that is clearly hurting others.

Honestly just getting kind of tiresome and sad. My dad (1943-2020) spent his entire life calling the US a 'Banana Republic' saying that for all the good they did in ww2, everything that followed was cultural imperialism and what not.
