The Presidential vote is the only race determined by the electoral college. All senators, representatives, state and local elections are determined by majority vote. Not to mention, ballot questions like changes to local laws. In my opinion, all of those are important, if not more important than who's President. I think they're more important but I also have no idea how to find out who they are, what they stand for, or when/how I'm supposed to vote for them.

Honestly just getting kind of tiresome and sad. My dad (1943-2020) spent his entire life calling the US a 'Banana Republic' saying that for all the good they did in ww2, everything that followed was cultural imperialism and what not.
