Lol, I didn't know either. I'd signed up as a support rider for my, at the time, brother in law on the marathon being run the same day. Got called the evening before asking if I could ride rabbit for the marathon at 7am, then double back and do the same for the 10k race, then double back again and bring the marathon runners home. Slow even pace for the marathon, top gear full speed for the 10k guys. It was a funny experience with the marathon. Starting at 7 in the morning. 6 cops on motorcycles, then me, then around 400 runners. All quietly plodding our way through a city either waking up or going home to sleep.

Honestly just getting kind of tiresome and sad. My dad (1943-2020) spent his entire life calling the US a 'Banana Republic' saying that for all the good they did in ww2, everything that followed was cultural imperialism and what not.
