Elections are decided by a few swing states: PA, WI, MI, FL, and like...a few others. They don't seem to care that millions of votes matter less in that scenario, conveniently. Also, laws aren't made at elections. Loooots of laws are made at the state level, which has nothing to do with the Electoral College. Which is why people should absolutely go vote, regardless of their feelings on the Presidential ticket. That's not the only thing on the ballot.
