That's you, right? Ranked voting can be popular-vote (1 person, 1 vote) or not (keep the system as it is now, with some states over-weighted and some states under-weighted). It can be done with an electoral college or without. What ranked voting does (and it's something I'm in favor of) has nothing to do with the electoral college issue. There are (in my opinion) better options than the electoral college and just letting the popular vote decide. Ranked voting is one that I think would be an excellent choice.

Honestly just getting kind of tiresome and sad. My dad (1943-2020) spent his entire life calling the US a 'Banana Republic' saying that for all the good they did in ww2, everything that followed was cultural imperialism and what not.
